Aidons Romain à transformer sa passion en métier

Bonjour à tous,

Je m’appelle Arnaud et je lance aujourd’hui une cagnotte pour soutenir le projet de mon fils Romain.

Depuis six ans, il vit sur son bateau. Cette expérience de vie atypique lui a appris l’autonomie, la persévérance et l’ouverture au monde.
La remise en état de son bateau, datant de 1991, s’est révélée être un chantier colossal, bien plus important qu’il ne l’imaginait au départ. Novice au début, il a pourtant relevé chaque défi avec détermination.

Aujourd’hui, son aisance en navigation, sa capacité à entretenir son bateau et à gérer la vie à bord me confirment qu’il ne s’agit pas simplement d’un choix de vie… mais d’une véritable passion.

Au fil des rencontres et des expériences, il a construit un projet solide. Pour le concrétiser et en faire son activité professionnelle, il doit désormais suivre une formation internationale très qualifiante de Capitaine de bateau.
Cette formation, qui se déroule en mer sur 10 à 14 semaines selon les acquis, permet de valider toutes les formes de navigation sur un bateau à moteur jusqu’à 24 mètres.

L’objectif est de réunir 16 000 € pour financer cette formation.

Je ne suis malheureusement pas en mesure de lui offrir seul cette opportunité. C’est pourquoi je fais appel à votre générosité pour l’aider à transformer sa passion en avenir professionnel.

Hello everyone,

My name is Arnaud, and today I’m launching a fundraiser to support my son Romain and his project.

For the past six years, he has been living aboard his boat. This unconventional lifestyle has taught him independence, perseverance, and a deep openness to the world. Restoring his boat, built in 1991, turned out to be a far bigger challenge than he had originally imagined. Starting with very little experience, he has nevertheless faced each obstacle with determination and patience.

Today, seeing how confident he is at sea, how well he maintains his boat, and how naturally he manages life on board, I know that this is more than just a lifestyle choice for him — it is a true passion.

Over the years, through the people he has met and the experiences he has gained, Romain has developed a solid plan for his future. To turn this passion into a professional career, he now needs to complete an internationally recognized Captain’s training program.

This intensive training takes place at sea and lasts between 10 and 14 weeks, depending on previous experience. It provides certification for all types of navigation on motor vessels up to 24 meters.

Our goal is to raise €16,000 to help fund this training.

Unfortunately, I am not able to offer him this opportunity on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out to you — hoping that, together, we can help him take this important step toward his professional future.
