After years of dedication, fieldwork, deep reflection, endless writing sessions ✍️, countless coffees and cappuccino discoveries ☕, and navigating research questions as complex as the world itself, our dear colleague and friend Chaïma is finally reaching a major milestone: her PhD defense! 🎉🎓
This is an incredible achievement and a moment truly worth celebrating.
Throughout her PhD journey at emlyon, Chaïma immersed herself in understanding how communities rebuild in the aftermath of crisis, exploring solidarity, and resilience. Her work has tackled big questions with curiosity, rigor, and humanity, transforming emotions into possibilities and imagining new futures.
To celebrate this special occasion and congratulate Chaïma on this well-deserved accomplishment, we are organizing a collective gift as a small token of appreciation and recognition for everything she has achieved along the way. 🎁
