Festival Dialogues de corps 2025

Le CDC La Termitière a été créé en 2006 par le duo de chorégraphes Salia Sanou et Seydou Boro en vue de doter le Burkina Faso d’une institution dédiée à la danse contemporaine. Une structure qui permettrait d’offrir des outils de création d’excellence aux professionnels de la danse et d’ouvrir un espace de transmission et de formation à destination des nouvelles générations. 

Le CDC La Termitière est devenu depuis une référence dans la sous-région et sur le continent et constitue l’un des pôles majeurs de structuration de la danse contemporaine sur le continent. 

Parmi les axes forts que déploie le CDC La Termitière, se trouve le festival Dialogues de Corps - Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales de Ouagadougou - plateforme de visibilité pour les artistes du continent, formidable outil de diffusion des œuvres chorégraphiques contemporaines africaines qu’il est primordial de sauvegarder. 

Festival de création et de diffusion, il conjugue accompagnement de créateurs émergents du continent - auxquels il offre une opportunité de visibilité et de réseautage - et diffusion de pièces de chorégraphes internationaux, peu présents sur les scènes du continent, qui trouvent ici une plateforme pour rencontrer le public africain et incuber de nouveaux projets de coopération artistique.

La 15e édition se tient du 6 au 13 décembre 2025 autour du thème de l’Humain, sa place dans nos sociétés, d’un monde en mutation et de plus en plus virtuel. Tout en axant la ligne programmatique sur des créations inédites, le festival mettra particulièrement en avant le travail de jeunes chorégraphes émergents du Burkina Faso et de la sous-région aux côtés de créations d'artistes internationaux. 

Cette année encore, nous travaillons avec passion pour offrir une édition riche, ouverte et engagée. Pour pallier au retrait de nombreux partenaires, nous lançons un appel à dons pour soutenir la production du festival. 

Votre participation contribuera directement à l’accueil des artistes invité·es à Ouagadougou :

• hébergement
• repas
• transport local

Chaque contribution, petite ou grande, aide à rendre possible la présence des artistes, à nourrir les échanges, et à faire vivre la danse contemporaine dans toute sa diversité.

The CDC La Termitière was created in 2006 by the choreographic duo Salia Sanou and Seydou Boro with the aim of providing Burkina Faso with an institution dedicated to contemporary dance. A structure capable of offering high-quality creative tools to dance professionals, while opening a space for transmission and training for new generations.

Since then, CDC La Termitière has become a reference in the sub-region and across the continent, and is now one of the leading hubs for the development of contemporary dance in Africa.

Among the major initiatives led by CDC La Termitière is the festival Dialogues de Corps – Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales Ouagadougou — a visibility platform for artists from the continent and a vital tool for the dissemination of contemporary African choreographic works that must be preserved.

A festival for creation and dissemination, it supports emerging creators from the continent — offering them opportunities for visibility and networking — while presenting works by international choreographers, who are rarely seen on stages across Africa and who find here a platform to meet African audiences and incubate new artistic cooperation projects.

The 15th edition will take place from December 6 to 13, 2025, around the theme of the Human Being — their place in our societies, in a world in mutation and increasingly virtual. While focusing its programming on original creations, the festival will particularly highlight the work of young emerging choreographers from Burkina Faso and the sub-region, alongside new works by international artists.

Once again this year, we are working with passion to offer a rich, open, and committed edition. To compensate for the withdrawal of several partners, we are launching a call for donations to support the production of the festival.

Your contribution will directly support the reception of invited artists in Ouagadougou:

Every contribution, whether small or large, helps make the artists’ presence possible, nourishes exchange, and keeps contemporary dance alive in all its diversity.
