Help Me Heal, Build My Future, and Keep Helping Others

My name is Aws. I am a Palestinian theatre artist, and for many years, I have dedicated a large part of my life to working with children through drama, theatre, creative expression, and emotional support.

I have worked with children who have experienced difficult and painful circumstances. Through theatre and drama, I have tried to give them a safe space where they could express themselves, tell their stories, release some of the emotions they carry, and simply feel like children again.

For years, I have been focused on helping others.

Today, I find myself in a position where I am the one who needs help.

I live with diabetes and need ongoing medication, treatment, and medical supplies to manage my condition. The cost of these necessities has become increasingly difficult for me to afford.

At the same time, I am engaged and trying to save enough money to get married and begin a stable and dignified life with my future wife. The financial pressure of medical expenses and wedding costs has become overwhelming, and I am struggling to meet both needs.

Asking for help is not easy for me. I have spent most of my life trying to be the person who gives support to others—not the person asking for it.

But right now, I need support.

The goal of this campaign is to help me afford my medical treatment and supplies, contribute toward the costs of my marriage, and give me the chance to build a more stable and dignified life.

I also want to be able to continue doing what I have always loved: working with children, creating theatre, using drama as a way of expression and healing, and giving back to the community around me.

Your support would mean much more than money to me.

It would mean access to the treatment I need.
It would mean a chance to build my future.
And it would mean the ability to continue helping the children and people I have dedicated so much of my life to.

M'aider à guérir, à construire mon avenir et à continuer à aider les autres

Je m'appelle Aws. Je suis un artiste de théâtre palestinienne et, depuis de nombreuses années, je consacre une grande partie de ma vie à travailler avec les enfants à travers l'art dramatique, le théâtre, l'expression créative et le soutien émotionnel.

J’ai travaillé avec des enfants qui ont vécu des situations difficiles et douloureuses. Grâce au théâtre et à l’art dramatique, j’ai essayé de leur offrir un espace sûr où ils pouvaient s’exprimer, raconter leurs histoires, libérer certaines des émotions qu’ils portaient en eux et, tout simplement, se sentir à nouveau comme des enfants.

Pendant des années, je me suis consacré à aider les autres.

Aujourd’hui, je me retrouve dans une situation où c’est moi qui ai besoin d’aide.

Je vis avec le diabète et j’ai besoin de médicaments, de traitements et de matériel médical en continu pour gérer ma maladie. Le coût de ces produits de première nécessité est devenu de plus en plus difficile à assumer pour moi.

Parallèlement, je suis fiancé et j’essaie d’économiser suffisamment d’argent pour me marier et commencer une vie stable et digne avec ma future épouse. La pression financière liée aux frais médicaux et aux coûts du mariage est devenue écrasante, et j’ai du mal à répondre à ces deux besoins.

Demander de l’aide n’est pas facile pour moi. J’ai passé la majeure partie de ma vie à essayer d’être celui qui apporte son soutien aux autres, et non celui qui le sollicite.

Mais aujourd’hui, j’ai besoin d’aide.

L’objectif de cette campagne est de m’aider à financer mon traitement médical et mes fournitures, de contribuer aux frais liés à mon mariage et de me donner la chance de construire une vie plus stable et plus digne.

Je souhaite également pouvoir continuer à faire ce que j'ai toujours aimé : travailler avec les enfants, créer des pièces de théâtre, utiliser le théâtre comme moyen d'expression et de guérison, et m'investir au sein de la communauté qui m'entoure.

Votre soutien représenterait bien plus qu'une simple aide financière pour moi.
