The European Federation of Food Banks (FEBA), celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, brings together more than 350 food banks in 30 European countries. Since 1986, the organization has been working to reduce food insecurity by preventing food waste, promoting solidarity, and supporting charities that provide food to people in need.
For over 13 years, the student association Eurofeel has organized Eurostep, a charity hitchhiking race whose proceeds are donated in full each year to the food bank in the city where participants finish. The 2026 edition will be held in Prague, and expectations are high after a record-breaking €17,000 raised for the Amsterdam Food Bank last year!
