After many years of shaping telecommunications in Europe—including within the defence and space sectors—Marc Cartigny, Executive eXpert at Airbus, is retiring. Marc has not only marked the history of telecommunications but also influenced numerous generations of colleagues who had the honour and pleasure of working alongside him.
It is time to say goodbye and show our appreciation. We encourage you to contribute to a collective gift; depending on the total amount, we could purchase a nice watch with a personalised touch. We plan to present this gift at his farewell party, which is expected to take place on January 16 (TBC). Therefore, we ask for contributions by January 15 so that we can buy the gift on the morning of the 16th.
A list of contributors’ names will be made available to Marc so that he knows who kindly helped with his farewell gift. Thank you all very much for your contributions.
